Why Was Everyone Always Fainting?

This week I’m doing something a little different. This is an episode of my other podcast, Usefulish, which is a completely different kind of show from Girls Can Tell. So consider this a little detour from our regularly scheduled programming. I hope you enjoy it.

7 Women, 7 Reasons It Went Nowhere

I still have tons of old, dead conversations I've had on the app. This week I went back and reread the ones that went nowhere, some I ended on purpose, and some just sort of ended themselves. Horses, maple syrup urine disease, and a woman who compared a relationship to a newborn baby all show up. See if you recognize yourself or someone you've talked to in any of these.

You might be dismissing them too fast, and also making this fatal mistake while you're sitting through your pile of matches. #datingover50 #moderndating #relationshipadvice

Reviews

I cried
I cried today while listening to the cancer episode and I binged another 11 episodes. Trent knows what he's talking about and has a unique and no bullshit take on relationships I can totally relate to. Now I want to go hear the rest of them.
Different
Trent is cool
Interesting
There isn't anything else like this. I don't know how he says this stuff, but it's well done!
I Love Him
OMG I just found this podcast and listened to all of them! You have to check out what this guy is talking about, so funny.
This girl can tell
This is a really refreshing take on dating in your 50s. It’s funny and insightful and amusing. Trent is a perceptive and intelligent observer of the vagaries of human relationships and how maddening but necessary they are. For the sake of transparency, I am way beyond my 50s but can say that some things never change and a shirtless guy in a baseball cap doesn’t appeal at any age. I hope the series goes on and on.
Re: Oops, I did it a Ben
In this episode, the host takes us on a turbulent ride that begins with a simple text from his flight attendant girlfriend that is a string of strange letters. Most of us would’ve chalked it up an overambitious thumb. But not this host. No, the message was an encrypted love note meant for a secret lover in a gate B69. What follows is absolutely incredible. This episode is what happens when Hardy Boys energy collides with a cheater in a relationship at 30,000 feet. Dramatic, hilarious, and
Look forward to the new show
It's a good idea and I want to find out more. I like it and I hope he doesn't change things
Creative show
This is different and I love the direction he takes things, it's refreshing. I'm a fan 🙂
This is it
Trent puts a lot of time and work into these episodes and it shows. I want to keep listening to hear what he talks about next. It's fun
Great!
I really think this podcast is so different than everything else out there. I love listening.
This is Straight Talk
My favorite podcast hands down!
